MADE IN NICE PRODUCTS NOT TO MISS

ONCE NICE, ALWAYS NICE!

Got Nice under your skin… even in your home decor? Good news: head to the Maison de l’Artisanat et du Goût de Nice. Located on level N-1 of NICETOILE, this shop celebrates Niçoise identity with a selection of items in the city’s signature colours: mugs, tote bags, notebooks, pens, t-shirts… Every article is marked with #ILoveNICE, Nice Jazz Festival, Carnaval de Nice, Ville de Nice, or adorned with typically local quotes. You’ll also find 100% local culinary specialities like olive oil, tapenades, jams and macarons. The perfect souvenir to give as a gift… or to treat yourself!

HERE, CHICKPEAS ARE SIPPED… AND SAVOURED WITH A CRUNCH

Nice is famed for its culinary richness! Think petits farcis, pan bagnat, and of course olive oil. Here, chickpeas reign supreme, featured both in traditional forms (the iconic socca) and in original creations: crisp Socca Chips, and a surprising local artisan beer — Socca Biera.

Fans of local beers with subtle flavours should also make a detour to the Libé’ district. At La Brasserie Artisanale de Nice, discover Blùna, a refreshing white beer infused with bitter orange (Seville orange) peel and coriander seeds. A true taste of Niçoise terroir in every sip!

AZURE BLUE

It’s impossible to think of Nice without picturing its iconic blue chairs, lined proudly along the Promenade des Anglais. For a quintessentially Niçoise souvenir to display at home or use daily, head to La Chaise Bleue, just a stone’s throw from Place Masséna. From souvenir items inspired by the Baie des Anges to holiday must-haves, here you’ll find a wide range of creations bearing the image of this Niçoise icon.

WARMTH, STYLE AND A JACK

No mention of the South would be complete without the timeless art of pétanque. That’s precisely the tradition La Boulisterie has built its concept around. Here, pétanque is celebrated with humour and style through original collections: t-shirts, swim shorts, small leather goods, accessories and homeware. Each item features quirky, typically Southern slogans like “Jamais sans mes boules” (“Never without my boules”) or “Pastis Pétanque”. Enough to win over both pétanque fans and lovers of Southern flair.

YOU CAN’T TALK ABOUT PÉTANQUE WITHOUT MENTIONING… PASTIS

It’s hard to mention pétanque without talking about… pastis, of course! For a 100% Niçoise version, we recommend a locally made and artisanal option — Pastis de Nice. Whether savoured with friends during an intense game or used in a sun-kissed recipe, this handcrafted drink delivers Southern flavour in every drop.
Good news: you can find it at several local wine shops, including 21 Paysans, Aperitiv and Cavavin Nice.

A FRAGRANCE WITH SOUTHERN NOTES

Fragonard has earned international recognition as a leading brand, while staying true to its Provençal roots. Irresistible as ever, this house beautifully captures Southern scents with refined creations. Eaux de parfum, brightly coloured soaps, packaging with thoughtfully crafted shapes, patterns and colours… Every detail is an invitation to travel.
Passed down through four generations, this perfumery art is passionately cultivated in the heart of the region.

MORE THAN JUST A PEBBLE…

Among our favourites, the “Les Galets Niçois” collection by local jeweller La Plaia. Inspired by this iconic yet controversial symbol of the city, this line brings pebbles to life in the form of rings, bracelets, earrings and cufflinks. With its sleek and elegant design, it’s the perfect gift — or treat for yourself — and an authentic souvenir with a touch of the Côte d’Azur.

SUNSHINE IN A SINGLE BITE

Created by master pastry chef François Ducroux: an almond biscuit flavoured with our regional aromas — green anise, violet, orange or lemon. Discover them at Macaron de Nice, in the heart of the Musicians’ district. We love these gluten- and lactose-free macaroons, infused with local flavours like Menton lemon, inland orange, or Tourrettes-sur-Loup violet.

All packaged in pretty traditional boxes — perfect as a gift or a personal keepsake! What’s more, if you look closely, you’ll spot a woman dressed in traditional Niçoise costume — a delicate tribute to the flower sellers of yesteryear.
