A tasty dish, a piping hot coffee… but how can you keep baby happy while mum and dad enjoy a short break?

Let us present a concept that might just revolutionise your life: the pushchair café! At Maman les p’tits bateaux, you can let yourself be tempted by a selection of hot and cold drinks, and lovingly made cakes. For the kids, the team proposes a range of activities, from musical awareness to puppet shows and baby yoga. No way to get bored in this place to meet and chat for parents and children alike who will probably make lifelong friends there.

Your kids also love animals? Take them to meet Léon, Jaya or Evoli, who live at the La Ronronnerie cat bar. Enjoy tea together composed of freshly pressed juices, cheese cake, carrot cake or lunch around a tasty bagel or a generous salad. All that to the gentle lullaby of purring animals.

The third go to family address: JOYA Lifestore. Both a store and a tearoom, the menu changes with the seasons and there’s a special kid’s menu. On Sundays, you can also have a family brunch. The little extra? A kids corner that offers children’s workshops: music for the toddlers, yoga, creative art… there’s something for everyone.

If you’re looking for colourful, fantasy items for your children, you need to see Valérie at 3 Pieds Pouces for advice! an Aladdin’s cave of high end brands… at discount prices! The little extra? A selection of luxury clothing for mums, to kill two birds with one stone.

And if you’re at the Nice Langostière shopping centre, you need to stop at Tape à l’oeil. Sizes from infants to pre-teens, the store has many references of T-shirts, jumpers, shoes and coats to dress your kids from head to toe whatever the season. 

A key accessory to perfect their look and for the comfort of their little eyes: glasses! The ideal pair, whether prescription or sunglasses, can be found at Les Petites Lunettes, rue Maréchal Joffre. Noémie, an experienced optician, will guide you through the dozens of trendy styled pairs.

We end this tour at Mini Style, a Nice store that is appropriately named. It has original kid’s items: embossed t-shirts, animal backpacks, ultra coloured comforters… your child will stand out at the nursery or in school.
