Late-night dining

For epicureans who like to extend their evening with a meal, Nice is full of restaurants that stay open late into the night. Among them is the Blue Whales, an institution in Nice’s Old Town (“Vieux Nice”) since 1993. The menu at this American-style “diner” bar includes: sharing starters, salads and burgers. The ideal spot for a late night with friends. The added bonus? Happy hour lasts until midnight!

For lovers of Italian cuisine, La Pizza Cresci in the pedestrian street is a must. On the menu: wood-fired pizzas, super generous dishes and a friendly atmosphere, ideal for relaxed dinners with your partner, family or friends. A great way to extend the dolce vita until 1am. And it’s been going on since 1956!

The most discerning palates will be delighted to discover Rouge, a restaurant and wine bar in the heart of the Antiques Quarter, where service is available until 12.30am. The menu offers refined dishes devised by Gautier Creissard, former right-hand man of chef Yves Camdeborde, to be enjoyed in a warm atmosphere that’s perfect for socialising along the superb counter in the centre of the room. And to accompany smoked aubergine caviar, tomato carpaccio or tempura courgette flowers, the chef suggests environmentally-friendly wines.

For a quintessentially Nice experience, Lou Pantail welcomes you with its Mediterranean specialities in the heart of the Libération district. Until 11.30pm, you can enjoy wood-fired pizzas, gnocchi niçois or the must-try daube with ravioli.

If you’re hungry late at night, Le Félix Faure is a must. A real institution in Nice, located a stone’s throw from Place Masséna opposite La Coulée Verte, this brasserie welcomes you 7 days a week until 1.30am. Charcuterie sharing boards, big salads, pizzas, Nice dishes, grills and fish… The menu caters for all tastes!

Bars where you can extend your evening

Nice’s late-night bars are the preferred destination for lovers of creative cocktails and background music. Tipsy is a popular spot with locals and tourists alike for its selection of original cocktails and its lounge atmosphere, complete with red lights. Whether you’re looking for an intimate evening or a place to meet up with friends, this bar will meet all your expectations.

If you’re after more chill-out background music, head to Van Diemens, on the Cours Saleya! In this Australian bar, you can enjoy craft beers (including the house beer!) between two DJ sets played upstairs, comfortably seated at the bar or on the wide leather sofas.

Another must-visit spot to extend your evening in Nice is the Waka Bar. Ideally located on the Quai des Etats-unis, it’s a firm favourite with regulars for its wide selection of beers and cocktails and its musical atmosphere, which entices you to dance the night away. All this, overlooking the Mediterranean Sea!

Nightclubs and clubs

Nice’s trendy nightclubs and clubs are the perfect place to party until dawn. The most famous of them all? The High Club, a real institution in Nice, renowned for its electrifying evenings with international DJs and fiery performances. Here you can enjoy unforgettable nights in the heart of the city’s festive atmosphere.

After midnight, it’s time to party at Eros, Place du Pin! This club welcomes you to its dimly lit back room, complete with benches, low tables and lighting effects.
